The Republic of Moldova Ambassadors to Latvia and Estonia, Eugen Revenco and Inga Ionessii paid a working visit in the border cities Valga (Estonia) and Valka (Latvia), where they discussed the cooperation opportunities with the similar zones from the Republic of Moldova.
Within the discussions, the officials talked about the cooperation, the experience of the local administration and the implementation of common projects. As an example, there is the cooperation between Valaga and Nisporeni towns.
The meeting organized at the initiative of the Republic of Moldova Ambassadors in Tallinn and Riga was hosted by the mayor of Valka town, Vents Armands Krauklis and the one of Valga, Margus Lepik.
The Valka and Valaga towns were created after the Walk city was divided into two, in 1920.
