Political expert, Corneliu Ciurea, believes that if all pro-European parties will be willing to chose a single pro-European candidate to run for Mayor, the idea will not be far-fetched. 

"Were those 4, 5 parties to gather and decide upon a single pro-European candidate, the idea would not be far-fetched. I am sure that some parties will be able to accept such talks, but I do not see how Andrei Năstase could back down, as he rushed in making a decision. I believe it to be a great idea for PDM to begins talks, as we do not need dictatorial behavior in the pro-European zone, as Mr. Năstase tends to do.

We know Mr. Năstase very well. Throughout his career, he has not made much and was not very responsible on taken decisions. He did not pose to us as a responsible person. He will go ahead and will not think much of other pro-European parties" Corneliu Ciurea declared.
