The National Anti-corruption center and the ministry of Health and Social protection made an informing campaign ,,The corruption damages the health." that took place between April and June in the medical institutions.

The officers of the National Anticorruption Center organized and held informative and distributing information sessions for the healthcare employees: managers, deputies and jurists of the medical institutions subordinated to the ministry, medical staff from the Republican, municipal and rayon public health care institutions, teachers and students medical education institutions.

The topics discussed in the sessions focused on the following aspects: the professional and institutional integrity, the internal and external control of professional and institutional integrity, the responsibility for lack of integrity, managerial responsibilities to ensure the integrity climate, the mechanisms of professional integrity assurance and institutional ones.

At the same time, we mention that during the year 2019, the National Anticorruption Center ensures the training of nurses during the training courses, which are carried out with the support of the Center for Continuing Medical Education for Medical Staff with Medium Studies. Thus, in the first half of 2019, over 1100 nurses were trained in 84 training sessions. The training focused on topics such as integrity requirements for the medical field, liability for lack of integrity.

Expected result: Changing attitudes and accountability of medical staff on institutional and professional integrity.
