The Costesti village from Ialoveni district catches the color thanks to a young and ambitious youth - Alexei Luca who succeeded to make his local library more attractive. Being financially supported by the villagers, he turned a wall of institution into a true masterpiece.   

Alexei buckled down on this artwork for a week, wishing to prove that reading helps people escape from reality and discover a new world.   

The entire artwork cost more than 500 € gathered through the platform of the Government 24. Besides, the City Hall offered him a crane and promised to allocate 20 mil lei for the renovation of the library entrance gate.  

“There are 20 donors mostly living in Costesti. They were able to donate with card or SMS”. Maria Bivol – the administrator of Government 24 platform declared.    

The idea or Alexei, however, did not surprise the head of library, Maria Bortă, owning to his good reputation as an active youth.  

The artwork received lots of compliment made by local children. Likewise, the artwork inspired children and brought them joy and happiness.

The artist is greatly ambitious, he also plans to color the building of Costesti high school. That work will begin in autumn financially supported with 1000€ by a group of co-workers.
