After months of waiting, the most important financial document of Chisinau was approved in final lecture by the municipal councilors. 44 local councilors voted the Chisinau budget draft.

The document foresees expenses of 3.2 billion lei and income of 3.05 billion lei.

The budgetary deficit will be covered by external financing sources and the privatization of public goods.

In 2016, the largest amount of money, 1.5 billion lei, will be given to the education field.

At the same time, more than 600 million lei will be allocated to the roads rehabilitation and modernization of public transport.

Only 120 million will be spent on capital investments, and for houses management will be given 266 million lei.
