Following the detection of several cases of poisoning, infection and violence against children in the country's rest camps, Prime Minister Pavel Filip ordered the creation of a cross-sectoral working group for the elaboration of a new concept regarding the organization and development of recreational-educational activities in the camps. The Cabinet of Ministers approved today its establishment.

The Working Group will include specialists in education, health, public order and social protection.

Experts will analyze the current situation in the field and identify solutions to prevent irregularities and deviations in the activity of rest camps. At the same time, this normative framework will be improved.

Within one month, the working group is expected to submit to the Government the new concept of organizing activities in child rest camps, including the way of cross-sectoral authorization of camps.
