The country's main Christmas tree that will delight the Christmas celebrations was bought in the National Square.

The tree is over 17 meters high from Vasieni village, Ialoveni district.

Tree will be adorned with 1,500 ornaments and will be inaugurated on the first day of winter, December 1st. 

Also, the tree will be embellished with festive lighting and more than 20 streets will be decorated with 70 kilometers of lights.
