Chisinau Court of Appeal has declared that by making a strike and boycott at various trials the attorneys, from the Union of Lawyers of the Republic of Moldova, will interfere with the judge's work from that institution. They are unhappy with the preventive measures the judges take.

The Court of Appeal has also mentioned that all the information provided to them regarding the situation proved to be superficial and dodgy. 

At the same time, a study made by the Court of Appeal has shown that 80% of the time, preventive measure are taken only in grave or extremely grave cases. Among them counts: illegal drug trade, homicide, human trafficking and corruption.

Recently, the Union of Lawyers of the Republic of Moldova have declared that they will boycott, being unhappy with courts excessively using preventive measures.
