A Romanian man who worked at a Balti enterprise was killed dead today in the city. It's about a killing of jealousy. The victim was attacked by the husband of the woman she had extramarital relations with. 

"The person suspected of committing the offense applied a knife stroke in the region of the foot. A quarrel started between them, after which they started some adjustments of accounts, stretching out, they went out in the courtyard of the block, then on their way, on their way again "They stumbled upon each other, after all, the citizen who was knocked down fell unknowingly", said Oleg Cojocaru, head of the Balti Police Inspectorate.

According to the police, the 35 years old man suspected his wife of infidelity. Yesterday, he told her she would not be home at night so she could follow her.

This morning, as the woman came out of the apartment with the lover, the man stabbed her lightly in her left arm. The lover jumped into his defense, but he was also severely stabbed to his feet.

Because he lost much blood, the victim died on his way to the hospital. The woman is out of danger and the attacker has been detained by the police for 72 hours.

The police opened a criminal case for murder. If found guilty, the man risks life imprisonment.
