Today, on February 15, Cristina Lesnic, deputy prime minister participated at an event dedicated to the victims of the Afganistan war. At the event also participated Vladimir Vitiuc, deputy President of the Parliament, Eugen Sturza, the Defense Minister, Alexandur Jizdan, the minister of Internal Affairs and the representatives of the local and central administration, soldiers and their relatives.

Within the event that took place at the memorial complex, Cristina Lesnic put flowers on the monument of the dead soldiers. 

The deputy minister thanked the former soldiers for their sacrifices, for their courage and wished them health, prosperity and happiness. She mentioned how important the peace is and specified the great loss within the Afganistan war.
