Anti-corruption officers (CNA) raid customs brokering firms.

Searches are being conducted at 12 firms, related to the Chisinau-based Customs Office.  

The criminal case is opened on alleged protection tax, non-verification of imported goods and indication of other categories of goods in order to pay smaller customs taxes.

Also today prosecutors raid taxi companies for tax evasion assessed at MDL10 million.
