Customs Service added 418.3 million lei to state budget in a single week
During November 6 - 12 2017, Customs Service have added to the state budget 418.3 million lei, having gone through 10 696 declarations.
So far, they have managed to stop 53 attempts to breach the law that are now investigated by specialized subdivision of Customs Service, to establish all circumstances and see to fitting punishments. At the same time, during this period 24 cases were registered with applied fines amounting to 55 554 lei.
During this period, the number of vehicles that passed the customs are estimated to be of 87 833. The biggest traffic was registered at the Moldova-Romania border, while the most passed through customs were from Leușeni and Sculeni, with 16 187 and respectively 15 109 vehicles.
In this context, in order to avoid long lines at passing points, drivers are urged to not favor a certain customs and use all existing ones. The web page of Customs Service offers an interactive map of the customs, as well as showing the number of vehicles waiting their turn.
