In the period 22-28 august, the income received by the Customs Service for the state budget were 403.465 million lei, being filled approximately 9,757 customs statements.

Regarding the control of customs frauds, in this period were stopped 30 attempts of breaking the customs legislation, which are investigated by the specialized subdivisions of the Customs Service in order to establish all circumstances and to undertake the legal measures.

At the same time, in the named period were registered 88 contravention cases and given fines of over 194,000 lei.

The border of Moldova was crossed by approximately 106,000 transport units. The biggest traffic values were registered at the Moldo-Romanian border, and the most crossed border points are Leuseni and Sculeni, with 17,498 and 15,883 crosses.

At the same time, during last week were issued 12,086 tax discs and brought to the state budget approximately 2.4 million lei.
