Customs Service collected 440.7 million lei for state budget in a week
During 4 - 10 December 2017, Customs Service have contributed to state budget with 440.7 million lei, having perfected in total 11 254 customs declarations.
Officers have stopped 76 attempts to breach the customs law that are now being investigated by specialized subdivisions of Customs Service to determine all circumstances and take the necessary legal measure the law imposes. At the same time, during this period were registered 33 cases of breaches that were fined in total with 87 359 lei.
82 387 vehicles have crossed the customs, most of them being registered at the Moldova - Romania borders, in Leușeni and Sculeni crossing points, with 15 111 and 13 940 crossings.
To avoid traffic, Customs Service urges drivers to use the "Trafic online " application, which shows the real time situation at all crossing points.
