In a single week Customs Service have brought within state budget close to 445.6 million lei, having perfected in total 11 103 customs declarations.

At the chapter of combating customs frauds, were revealed 102 attempts to breach the customs law, that are now being investigated by specialized subdivisions of the Customs Service in order to establish all circumstances and set fitting punishments. At the same time, during this period, 51 breaches were fined with total of 81 574 lei.

Over the past week, 95 001 vehicles crossed the borders. The most popular being the crossing point between Moldova and Romania, while most used customs: Leușeni and Sculeni, with 18 624 and 13 372 crossings.

In order to ease traffic, Custom Services urge citizens to use all crossing points and not favor one above the other. At the same time, before heading out, use the ”TRAFIC ONLINE” application offered on the Custom Services official web page to see the real time situation at borders for all types of vehicles.
