Czech, Moldovan Government heads visit Moldova's passport-making company
Czech prime-minister Bohuslav Sobotka has been impressed with the development of Moldova’s state info-registers, as he has been accompanied by his Moldovan counterpart Pavel Filip to the Center of state info resources ‘Registru’.
Registru chief Sergiu Railean has told the officials about the successful cooperation with the Czech partners, as the paper for the ID documents is imported from the Czech Republic.
Premier Bohuslav Sobotka has appreciated Moldova’s IT progress and has said this country’s experience might be useful for the Czech Republic.
Pavel Filip has said this edge-cutting system eased to achieve the free travel of the Moldovans to the EU. “It’s a system suiting all the European requirements and standards. It’s due to it that the documents cannot be forged, as their authenticity is correlated with the information from the data base," Pavel Filip explained.
