Sergiu Branza, the dean of the Law Faculty of the State University of Moldova was placed in preventive arrest for 30 days. The sentence was pronounced by the judges of Chisinau Court.

The former lawyer of Vlad Filat, Vierel Berliba remains in the CNA prison.

The two of them were detained two days ago. They are blamed of peddling.

According to the Anti-Corruption Prosecutors, in August, Berliba was helping the students to pass the thesis. Sergiu Branza was bribed by students.
