More than 26 thousand people from Chisinau did not pay the taxes on the building before December 15 deadline, the City Hall said.

Overdrafts have exceeded 22 million lei, of which five million are penalties. Until December 20, authorities will send repeated payment notifications to over 17,000 addresses.

At the same time, in the name of 471 taxpayers with debts exceeding two thousand lei, the forced collection procedure of the tax was triggered. Their total debt is 2.3 million lei and penalties of almost half a million.
