Decorative candles are the key element to any Easter table. Craftsmen claim that during Easter holidays their sales double. Most sought are candles decorated with thematic messages.

"Most popular candles are of 10 to 20 cm, personalized. Those cost from 180 lei. There are also candles in the shape of eggs, they are a bit bigger than chicken eggs, but the size was increased to ensure that they can last all Easter day and even more" artisan Vica Diavor explained.

Depending on the taste, candles can also be customized.

"Usually for Easter holidays the candles bear messages, personalized by us. Everyone wishes to have a unique candle for holidays and that is when we started offering customization. Most popular being Happy Easter" Vica Diavor said.

The artisan also came with a few recommendations to avoid fire.

"The candle wick should be cut at half a centimeter and should not be burned more then twice. The fire must be supervised and extinguished with water. Candles must be placed on a surface that cannot burn and avoid putting it near paper or curtains" Vica Diavor advised.

Decorative candles can cost from a few dozens lei to a few hundreds.
