Defense Ministry and War Veterans Organizations have signed a collaboration agreement

The Ministry of Defense and the veterans' organizations participating in the fighting in Afghanistan and for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova have today concluded a cooperation agreement.
The document, signed by Minister Eugen Sturza and the representatives of the War Veterans' Associations in the country, provides for the organization and joint deployment of military-patriotic education activities, commemorating the heroes fallen on duty and other events, involving the veterans, as well as their participation to the process of developing and promoting policies on veteran social protection.
The agreement aims to make the collaboration between the Defense Institution and the war veterans organizations more efficient in the context of the implementation of the Memorial Action Plan. Honor. Respect ", approved by Government Decree No. 52 of April 2016.
