Democratic Party of Moldova launches two wide-range campaigns
The Democratic Party of Moldova in launching two wide-range campaigns. One, under the slogan “Together we are stronger”, will promote the specific benefits the closeness of Moldova to the European Union is bringing to Moldovan citizens.
The second one will be a debate at national level on necessary changes in the Moldovan politics, in which people, politicians and experts will be invited to discuss the problems and to propose solutions so that the politics will truly represent their interests.
Both campaigns were initiated in the framework of the National Political Council of the Democratic Party at the end of august 2016.
The campaign for the adhesion of Moldova to European Union “Together we are stronger” will take place during September 2016 and will be realized through the promotion of the specific results of the governance for the European modernization of Moldova.
According to a press statement, “Democratic Party understands that it is necessary to stress out specific projects and benefits instead of a declarative pro-European speech. The most important aspect is the increase of people’s way of living which has to reach the European standards. The campaign will use all promotion and communication forms with all citizens. We mention that, at the naming for the run for president, the DP leader Marian Lupu pointed out that the future way of Moldova is the European one: “On this subject of the European vector we have to unify the society, so there won’t be any splitting, but harmony and joint work”.”
Another important action of the party wants to approach the relation between politics and citizens, the latter being asked to express their critics and proposals in order to improve this situation.
For this special objective is launched the website www.nouapolitica.md , where everyone is invited to express their opinions regarding the present political system in Moldova. at the same time, DP will organize meetings and debates in all Moldovan localities, inviting people who have critical, but constructive positions, to participate and to make proposals.
It is worth mentioning that the launching of the website www.nouapolitica.md and the public debates in the territory are a part of a bigger project of DP targeting the reform in politics, project announced at the beginning of august 2016 by the first deputy president of DP, Vlad Plahotniuc.
