Deposits at Moldovan banks decreased 20% in June compared with May, shows the latest data of National Bank. 

Moreover, it was 5% drop year on year, reaching 2.2 billions lei. 

According to National Bank, deposits in national currency accounted 60%, amounting 1.3 billions lei. It was nearly 20% down compared with the previous month and 10% decrease compared with last June. 

Deposits in foreign currency amounted to 880 million lei.
