Four persons from the administration of some construction companies from the Capital were detained by CNA officers and prosecutors.

According to investigators, the suspects changed without any authorization the construction projects of three buildings in Chisinau. They added some illegal floors and the spaces have been sold. As a result, people were left without money and without apartments.

Recently, journalists from the show "Moldova, Country of Wonder" conducted an investigation into the illegalities of the construction companies. The three residential blocks of Alexandru cel Bun street of residential complex "Paradise" which until recently was managed by the construction company "Prihojanin-M" were to be put into operation in early 2014.

News of "Prihojanin" company insolvency wasn't the worst for investors. Owners of one of the buildings that have found themselves on their building, instead of six floors, as planned, were raised 12.

Warnings of cessation of construction works have been issued since 2013, when it was detected deviations from the project. The investigation has revealed that the number of duped investors would be much higher.

Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office and CNA took action and arrested four people. They concluded investment contracts with natural and legal persons for spaces on illegally built floors.

Following searches of the suspects' homes and offices were seized documents, computers, and three luxury cars. The suspects were detained for 72 hours and faces up to six years in prison.
