Developments of Transnistrian settlement process and the current state of implementation of the protocol decisions signed during the last two years were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, with the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch.

During the dialogue, officials have found that there is enough political potential and will to continue the positive dynamics of the dialogue, which will also be reflected in the Ministerial Declaration on the Transnistrian settlement process at the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Milan, Italy.

Minister Tudor Ulianovschi reiterated the opening of the Moldovan authorities to identify tangible solutions in the Transnistrian dossier and confirmed the importance of starting discussions on the "third basket" issues on the "5+2" negotiation agenda on the elaboration and adoption of a special legal status for Transnistria, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
