DIASPORA DAYS: Citizens of Ialoveni who live abroad support national projects
Even if they are far away of their home country, many of Ialoveni residents who live abroad support many projects there.
They have gathered within Dispora days and counted the good results they achieved. At the event participated over 130 Moldovans who live abroad now.
Igor Balaur lives in France for 20 days. He is Greek fights coach there. He invested in many projects from Ialoveni.
"I support my native city. This year I have built a hall of Greek-roman fights and brought three mattresses", said Igor Balaur, Moldovan who lives in France.
The Artenii family live for 15 years in Russia, but has always supported the projects that have been implemented. In the future, they want to return to their home.
"We are keen to donate, to actively participate in various projects. In the autoturning project we are glad that everything went well", said diaspora representative, Aliona Artenii.
Ion Blanari has always come back from Romania to help modernize his hometown. Two years ago, he set up two associations with over 300 volunteers to enjoy the children's holidays.
"We are giving gifts to the needy children at home, of course, we are trying to give the spirit of the winter holidays. I am glad I can help and feel really good in my city", said diaspora representative Ion Blanari.
The mayor is proud of Ialoveni residents.
"Because of the natives who are leaving the city of Ialoveni, we have two beautiful projects. It is a good practice, here are the natives who always support us", says the Mayor of Ialoveni, Sergiu Armasu.
The event was a real celebration, which began with a bicycle tour through the picturesque town.
"It's very curious, everyone is agitated, well-liked with a lot of music, children from ensembles who kindly present their talents, we sing."
The natives of Constantin Moscovici and Adrian Ursu evolved on the stage of the summer theater.
