Diplomas, medals and advancements in grade on Professional Day of Customs Officer

The Central Office's festive hall has now become inadequate for dozens of employees of the institution, who have received distinctions on the Occupational Day of the Customs Officer. They were mentioned with thanks, diplomas of the Customs Service, Ministry of Finance and Government, medals and graduations in grade.
The ceremony was attended by Finance Minister Octavian Armasu, Customs Service Director Vitalie Vrabie, State Tax Service Director Sergei Puscuta and EU High Commissioner for Customs Rosario de Blasio.
At his turn, Minister Octavian Armasu congratulated the 27th anniversary of the founding of one of the first institutions of the Republic of Moldova. The Minister of Finance appreciated the progress made by the customs authority and expressed his willingness to support all the initiatives meant to protect the economic interests of the state.
The Director of the Customs Service, Vitalie Vrabie, thanked those present for the responsibility and dedication with which they perform their duties. The Head of Customs also pointed out the importance of combining efforts to achieve all institutional modernization projects.
A congratulatory message came from the head of the Fiscal Council, Serghei Puşcuţa, who mentioned the importance of strengthening the partnership between Customs and Tax, so as to ensure the full collection of the state budget revenues.
Congratulations were also made by EU High Commissioner for Customs Rosario de Blasio. He also stressed that although he was not yet three years old when advising the Customs Service, he noted significant progress in the institution's work.
Celebrations for awarding the awards took place in the premises of the three customs offices, with the participation of the Customs Service. Congratulatory messages addressed to colleagues in the territory included thanks for their contribution to building a modern customs system, as well as the urge to ensure a perfect professional conduct.
