Political interests of some parties from the Vulcanesti city council leave the people alone in front of problems.

The local council did not have meetings for more than three months, and the problem regarding the lack of drinking water in the city does not bother the socialist candidates, who are boycotting the institution’s activity.

The subject was also discussed in the Parliament meeting, where a democrat asked the PSRM fraction to convince their colleagues in Vulcanesti to fulfill their obligations.

In a statement at the end of the meeting, democrat Corneliu Dudnic talked about the blocking in the Vulcanesti city council.

The request of Dudnic did not make the socialist party to take action, that explained that each person decides if he will attend the meeting or not.

Almost one thousand people from Vulcanesti were left without water for an undetermined period, the cause being the supplier did not receive authorization from the Public Health Centre. Thus, the consumers are obliged to go far away to take water from wells or to buy from markets. According to Corneliu Dudnic, a solution for this problem has to be found by the local council.
