A few days after Ilan Shor's revelations about Igor Dodon, the last one gave a reply. The head of state admitted to a television show that he and current Mayor Orhei traveled and that their families had a close relationship.

Dodon denies however that Shor would have funded him for two election campaigns. At the same time, he refused to comment on allegations that he orchestrated criminal files in Russia, which included members of Shor's family.

"It's from a good family. We met with families.

Yes! Together we were somewhere. But not to his invitation, but to other people. I will not give a name because it's not nice.

And now what does he try? Show pictures how we stay with the wives and drink tea ?!

Probably this is his level. Or that others have funded? Leave that stupid. I understand that you are craftsmen to draw anything", said Igor Dodon.

Dodon's remarks came after a few days ago Shor said he was threatened by people around the president that his wife and children would have serious problems in Russia, Orhei Mayor said he did not expect such a turn, as they were in very good relations so far, and Shor pointed out that, together with Veaceslav Platon, he financed two PSRM election campaigns, that he paid them Dodon's vacations, that they flew together to Monaco, with a plane made available to him.

Asked if he was going to sue Ilan Shor for denigration, Igor Dodon replied that he would not. 

"If I was going to sue for every clown and buffoon, that would mean that the president only had to deal with it, and that's what they're waiting for. Let's be honest and not pay much attention. He is a politician with low social responsibility", said Igor Dodon, the country's President.

At the press conference he organized, Shor brought a bag that he said was used to convey "various things" to Igor Dodon, without specifying what it is about.
