The head of state considers that he took a good decision when he showed patience and after that he struck Vladimir Plahotniuc and PDM on a suitable moment.

 

Igor Dodon announced this on a private TV channel, aif.md reports.

 

The President noted that citizens understood and appreciated this, although for Dodon himself this was a huge risk.

 

“I don’t know what will happen afterwards. I understand that I will remain an enemy for Plahotniuc for life. We took obvious risks, but I believe that we were right in this situation. There is a saying: “God does not beat with a stick.” I’m honest and opened to the people and ease in front of everyone, including the members of the team that I brought together and raised as the chairman of PSRM in 2011. And I didn’t leave them, I didn’t leave the country, although I was provoked on June 8 - 10" he said.
