Donald Trump, the President of the USA nominated Derek Hogan for the office of the US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, as James Pettit's mandate is almost over.
To be called in office, the official should be heard by the committee for foreign affairs and then, voted within the plenary of the US Senate. Hogan works in the US State Department since 1997.
He is an expert in the Eastern Europe issues, where he held different offices, inclusively in Russia. The Republic of Moldova has a new Ambassador in the US.
Within an official ceremony at the White House, Cristina Balan presented her accreditation letters to the US president. Cristina Balan, is the former vice-president of the PDM, she was in charge with the foreign affairs of the party.
