Liberal Party Chairman Dorin Chirtoacă calls the unionist and pro-European parties to talk to decide only one candidate in the uninominal constituencies.
The PL leader says the left has every chance of taking over power if the Unionists do not lose their pride.
"There must be only one pro-European and unionist candidate in the constituencies," PL leader Dorin Chirtoaca said.
Dorin Chirtoaca also says that another problem of right-wing parties is the integrity of the PPDA leader, Andrei Nastase. Recently, the president of the Liberals has presented evidence that Andrei Nastase has helped his godfather Victor Ţopa to privatize the company Air Moldova. Thus, as a result of this transaction, the state budget was damaged by almost seven million euros.
"Let's solve the problem with Andrei Năstase, with the 7 million stolen with his godfather, Victor Topa, it is a problem that you can solve, do not cover it will get your eyes on this complicity, "added Chirtoaca.
Andrei Nastase did not comment on Chirtoaca's accusations. The Liberals wanted to go along with the PAS-PPDA bloc, but Sandu and Năstase announced they were forced to pass an integrity filter, which upset PL's leadership.
Subsequently, although they agreed to designate common candidate in constituencies, the Sandu-Năstase bloc closed their door, specifying that they were late in the list and recommended them to run for the uninominal constituencies that remained unimpeded, including Gagauzia, Transnistria and Russia. Previously, the Liberal Party's honorary president, Mihai Ghimpu, qualified Sandu and Năstase's decision to go without a PL, in spite of the compromise reached, as a proud and conceited man.
