Almost 40 Moldovan winemakers participated in the largest wine exhibition in the world organized in Dusseldorf, Germany. With a common stand, under the Wine of Moldova brand, Moldovans have demonstrated that a small country knows and can produce large wines.

Moldovans introduced nearly 350 types of wine to hundreds of visitors from all over the world, curious to learn more about Moldova.

In the 10 ProWein pavilions there is an area where visitors can enjoy the best wines from all over the world, awarded with medals at the Mundus Vini contest. Our country has a record number of medals this year, that is, 42, so now we will be more internationally recognized.

Our country's participation in the event is ensured and financed by the National Vine and Wine Office, with the support of the strategic development partner, the Moldova-financed Competitiveness Project financed by USAID and the Swedish Government.
