Dozens of officers are celebrating National Police Day
Police officers are celebrating their day. Dozens of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have laid down flowers at the Eternitate Memorial Complex.
Chief of General Police Inspectorate, Alexandru Pînzari, claims that for his subordinates, the safety they offer citizens matters the most.
"We walked around, informed citizens, created neighbor sectors, various campaigns and because of this, citizens trust us more. We wish for the citizens to feel safe whenever they see a police officer" Alexandru Pânzari said.
This evening, the Ministry of Internal Affair's administration will participate at a reception in a hotel form the Capital.
Over 9 000 officers are activating within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while the administration claims that they still lack around 800 employees.
