DPM caravan at Balti. Pavel Filip visited a factory that sold abroad sunflower oil worth over one billion lei
A factory from Balti sold abroad last year sunflower oil worth over one billion lei. It is one of the most important exporters from the country and the administration says there is more production capacity than just the necessary raw material.
At the DPM electoral caravan, the company was visited by the premier Pavel Filip. Last years, the factory where more than 500 employees work has been upgraded.
"When the economic situation in the country is stable, when the banking system is safe, we have a perspective, we have reliable partners who want to work together", said Stela Astravetcaia.
"Until recently, we used the technique in the 1960s, we changed the machines, the filters, so we are now polluting the air much less. The company became more environmentally efficient", said Alexandru Sionica, employee.
During the meeting, the workers discussed with DPM members the most important concerns: "There could be laws to limit the export of raw materials, so we can ensure the whole year's production process".
The Prime Minister had a meeting with the employees of SA "RED Nord". Since 2018, they have meal vouchers:
"We are pleased to have lunch vouchers, to have a stable job in the country, to have a future where we will stay at home and not to go abroad and look for work".
"I would say it is prosperity and we dream of stability. As already mentioned, it is an economic stability, economic growth".
The Democrats also went to the University of Balti where they met with the teachers.
"Those initiatives that the Government now has, with certainty, are absolutely beneficial and we feel it." Or the increased scholarships of the science and education students are initiatives that deserve to be continued later", said Natalia Gaizi, rector USARB.
"The DPM team , which I represent, has been focused on solving these problems, and if you see all public and social investments are specifically targeted to solve the problems that people are confronted with", said Pavel Filip.
DPM candidates on the uninominal constituencies in Balti are Serghei Buzurnai and Serghei Jordan.
