State program First House has offered a family chance to have their own house. Grigoruța spouses from Bălţata village, Criuleni district received keys for their new house and will move to new place in two weeks.
Since they have two children, they only need to pay bank's monthly interest as their loan is covered by the state.
Tatiana Grigoruţa works as a teacher at kindergarten in Capital. She has dreamed her own house for 14 years.
"We chose this location long time ago, ten years ago. But it was expensive and remained only a dream. We heard about this project and found it affordable now", said Tatiana Grigoruţa.
She said she knew this program from the news. She and her husband are employ by the sate which made them eligible to apply for First House 2 aimed for state-paid employees and First House 3 aimed for families with many children.
The two paid 10% of the loan worth 20,000 euros and monthly interest to the bank. Their new house is spacious, 200 square meter, and offers each family member a separate room.
So far, over 1,600 people have made their dreams come true thanks to the project.
The state guaranteed 274 loans worth 70 million lei only in February.
This year, the authorities have proposed to help three thousand people to buy a home with the First House program.
