The driver of a bus on Chisinau-Brasov route is investigated for smuggling with cigarettes.

The border police and the customs inspectors seized 114 000 cigarettes that were hidden in a specially arranged space of the bus.

The incident took place at Sculeni customs.

The cigarettes worth 21 788 lei and the truck worth 50 297 euros were seized.

At the same time, the man was fined by 42 473.
