The drivers who are caught drunk while driving will lose the driving license. The National Patrol Inspectorate informs that this law was published in the Official Monitor of September 14.

Thus, according to the modifications, the drunk drivers will not receive an additional driving license till the judge's verdict.

Also, a new type of punishment will be introduced. They will pass a new exam to gain the driving license back. The non-alcoholic program will be realized by the Probes National Inspectorate, it will take 20 lessons and will cost 4000 lei.

We mention that during 8 months, 1 740 accidents took place. After these, 186 persons died and 2 111 were wounded.
