(UPDATE 17:29) The road leading to the Customs from Hîrbovăț was snowed in, traveling between Bender city and Bulboaca village being impossible.

The activity of seven crossing points remains suspended, namely: Basarabeasca, Ceadîr-Lunga 1, Ceadîr-Lunga 2, Săiți, Mirnoe, Cișmichioi and Molovata.

(UPDATE 14:10) Basarabeasca-Vinogradovka Customs has also suspended its activity. Therefore, six crossing points from the South are not functioning, due to the snow storm and strong wind, mostly from Ukrainian side.

(UPDATE 13:00) Due to the highway Leușeni-Chișinău being snowed in, until it is not cleaned, traffic is interrupted. 

(UPDATE 11:50) Cișmichioi - Dolinscoe Customs has suspended its activity.

(UPDATE 11:08) Bad weather caused power outage in Ukraine, causing multiple crossing points from the south to cease their activity:

• Ceadîr-Lunga - Maloiaroslaveț;
• Ceadîr-lunga-Novîie-Traianî,
• Mirnoe-Tabaki;
• Etulia - Nagornoe.

It must be mentioned that Giurgiuleni-Reni Customs is operating again.

(08:45) Two crossing points Giurgiulești-Reni and Ceadîr-Lunga - Maloiaroslaveț has suspense their activity. According to border police officers, the customs were closed down due to a power outage from the Ukrainian side.

Drivers who wished to cross the border are asked to use other customs located nearby.

In order to ease traffic, Custom Services urge citizens to use all crossing points and not favor one above the other.
