The Municipal Council voted for the electronic toll that will come into force since September 1, 2018. Ruslan Coreanu, the deputy mayor accepted this and mentioned this represents a new step in the city's development.

"One of the promises I assumed as a municipal adviser was the electronic toll in the public transportation. One of the priorities I assumed as a deputy mayor I checked the working agenda and insisted to be allocated the required money in the Council's commissions and monitorized the sessions of the working group", said the deputy mayor.

"Today, this project was voted by the Municipal Council and the next year we will implement the e-tickets. I am sure the e-tickets will start a development step in the modernization of Chisinau transportation", said Ruslan Coreanu.

 According to the studies, Chisinau loses tens of millions lei because of the tickets system.

PPEM party had chosen the e-tickets. The big advantage of the e-tickets is that it will save a lot of money that will be invested in the modernization of the Electric Transport Company and the Urban Bus Park.
