Each fifth minibus from the Capital does not meet the requirements for transporting passengers.
At least 300 minibuses were inspected today, the results causing a headache for many drivers.
Specialists took care to notice all details, as it is very important, especially for vehicles that transport thousands of people daily.
"Many had broken windscreens. Such defect can be often met after winter."
The list of defects was topped by faulty headlights and the bad state of cockpits.
Minibus drivers will following offer the vehicles for inspection twice per year.
40 minibuses failed the tests, but they still have a chance.
"Minibuses that failed the inspection have 30 days to be repaired" Minister of Economy, Sergiu Bucătaru said.
Over 1 200 minibuses are running on the streets of the Capital.
