An economic agent risks to be fined for tax evasion, by paying his employees with cash. According to the States Tax Service, 40 out of 62 employees were paid salaries, without records being kept in the accounting office. The Contravention Code stipulated a fine of 75 thousand lei for legal entities who breaks the law.

The economic agent will also have to pay the difference between the given salaries and the ones registered in accounting office.

The amount will soon be decided by the Tax Service. Such a sanction was given for the first time a week ago, when the court forced an economic agent to pay 50 thousand lei.
