Economic analyst: Moldova's extractive industry reinvigorated after long-term stagnation
Moldova's extractive industry registered an increase 60% in February, compared with the same period last year. This increase might result from the orders given to enterprises within this area as well as several vacations since beginning of this year.
According to an analysis published on PoștadeȘtiri, we will observe the real increase in the coming reports.
"It seems that we support to reinvigorate products by companies within area", wrote an analyst.
After four years of stagnation and product decrease, 2018 marked with revival of extractive industries (increase 9.9%). Increase of around 30% was also recorded in the first two months of 2019.
According to the analysis, this positive evolution results from sector dynamics and government program application including aqueduct network and waste management as well as program Good Road for Moldova.
For this year, government has repaired over 2600 km of road with budget of 3bln MLD.
