Current tariff could be dropped next year. The statement was made by Economy Minister, Octavian Calmîc at Fabrika talk show last night. According to Minister, the electricity price cut will be influenced by several factors, including the stable purchase cost.

The gas tariff is expected to remain stable in the next period, no increases are foreseen.

Likewise, the Minister declared significant economic growth in following months.

"The significant growth of between 4% - 4.5% is forecast, accordingly, 10% increase in exports. The export growth rate in the first half of the year is 15%. In the second half, this pace will be much higher, around 14-15%".
