Economy minister Octavian Calmîc has discussed about trade and economy matters between Moldova and Ukraine, on his trip to Kyiv.
The talks focused on issues related to company ownership, state border trace-out, and the Dnestrovsk-based power plant.
The Ukrainian side showed vivid interest for the cooperation in the power sector, stating its readiness to start supplying electricity to Moldova as of next year.
The officials from both countries will continue the discussions to find a suitable solution to the customs taxes on the Ukrainian exports of dairy, meat and cement to Moldova.
