Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc awarded one more teacher
Stela Costiu was named one of the best teaches by Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss. The title surprised the teacher and the pupils.
"We participated at the Edelweiss contest, because you are one of the best teachers and you did a lot for us.
-This is a great surprise for me."
Stela Colesnic is a teacher of Romanian language for more than 20 years in a school from Bratuseni village, Edinet distric. Besides the title, she has also received a laptop.
"I want to thank Edelweiss foundation because they offer us the possibility to feel that there is somebody who supports and appreciates us", said Stela Colesnic, Romanian language teacher at Bratuseni Gymnasium.
Her pupils say that she is kind and intelligent.
"We thank her for her support in our most difficult moments. She is always supporting us, she is like a mother for us."
"We want her to be happy, because we love her. She is always supporting us."
Her colleagues said only good thing about the teacher.
"Even if she is a frail woman, she is very strong. Pupils respect her", said Ludmila Barbelic, deputy director of Bratuseni Gymnasium.
"She deserves this award. She is a very good teacher. I want to thank Vlad Plahotniuc for everything he does for our country. The projects he implements are necessary for our country", said Ina Svet, director of Bratuseni Gymnasium.
To gain this award, Stela Colesnic's pupils realized a short movie and showed their thanksgiving for their teacher, that was followed by a recommendation letter addressed to the foundation.
"The students from Bratuseni village participated at our contest and convinced us that they love their teacher and want to thank her for everything they do", said Lidia Cucos, deputy director of Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc.
The "Most loved teacher" contest started in September of 2017. Citizens can apply for the contest till June 1.
