Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss started the Easter Campaign. Thus, the team visited Rusu family from Seremet vilalge, Cimislia district. The family's story became well-known at the Edelweiss gala last year.
Andree, Ionela and Lenuta sisters were preparing for the Easter holidays when the foundation arrived.
They were happy about the visit and the presents brought by Edelweiss foundation: a basked filled with products for the Easter table.
The team was welcomed by the youngest daugher, Lenuta.
"Hello. What are you doing? We have brought you some books. Do you want to play?
-Yes."
Impatiently, the girl opened the sweets boxes.
"Here you have a chocolate bunny."
Ionela, the middle sister is found of reading. Harry Poter set that Vlad Plahotniuc gave her as a present was completed by 200 other books.
Edelweiss leader kept his promise and now, the girl has her own bookstore.
"I am shocked, because I have never seen such many books. I like to read books very much", said Ionela Rusu, beneficiary of the Easter campaign of Edelweiss foundation.
The elder daughter received a vacuum cleaner, so her work will be easier.
"Thank you for vacuum cleaner. It is very useful.
-How are you going to celebrate?
-I hope that our relatives will join us on the holiday table.
-Who will prepare the food?
-I will prepare some of the food."
"We came here to fulfill Ionela's dream to have her own bookstore. We hope you are happier now. We wish you happy holidays", said Lidia Cucos, deputy director of Edelweiss foundation.
Each year, Edelweiss foundation evolves the Easter campaign.
