The educational system will be reorganized according to the needs of the labor market, but also by the country's development directions. The concept of transformation of education was presented today by the experts of the Center for Reform Implementation, during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
The Prime Minister reiterated that education is a priority of the Executive, noting that the efforts will be focused on changing the curriculum, teacher training and modernizing the educational infrastructure. "It's time to think about the future, what we need to rely on, and why we need skills and abilities. We also need to see who works in schools and universities and what we need to do to get these staff ready. To remain educational institutions with competent teachers who will be able to prepare professional students, "said Pavel Filip.
Experts provided recommendations on areas ranging from pre-school to university education. Specialists have come up with proposals, including: reducing age in kindergartens, creating online learning platforms and useful information for parents, and developing a new formula for funding education institutions based on needs and performance.
In order to finalize the concept of transformation of education, experts and officials within the ministry will ensure the integration of all proposals aimed at modernizing the educational system. "We are slowly approaching a new vision for education. I wish that until the end of the mandate we have developed this concept that can be implemented ", said the Prime Minister.
