During January - February 2018, employees from Chisinau Police Department have taken a number of actions to investigate and reveal drug trafficking cases.

Therefore, law enforcement have documented and arrested 8 people aged between 18 and 40 years old, for selling drugs in big quantities. After received search warrants, officers manged to find and seize big amounts of ethnobotanical drugs, having sealed and send them to the forensics of General Police Inspectorate. At the same time, actions were taken to investigate and identify all accomplices in this case.

According to the law, if found guilty, the suspects risk from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
