Elections law can be changed. What do Pavel Filip and Andrian Candu think about it?
Pavel Filip requested the Justice ministry to analyze the law that made the magistrates to invalidate the elections of the Capital. The report should be ready by the next Tuesday.
The prime minister declared that this report was suggested by the foreign partners. Pavel Filip said that it is not about accusations at the judges' address.
"I want to understand better what is okay and what is not okay with the legislation. The legal framework should be made in such a way that the judges won't have an interpretation reason", said Pavel Filip.
The prime minister also declared that this subject was discussed in Washington with the American partners. According to Pavel Filip, the officials showed they are surprised that we have a silence day.
Andrian Candu thinks that the legislation should be changed and the term of "election agitation" should also be changed. According to the president of the Parliament, this is necessary in order to avoid such situations as the one that appeared after the elections were declared invalid.
"We should analyze this situation next week and propose the most convenient what is more efficient. We will create a working group within the Parliament and analyze what happened, inclusively, we will analyze the legislation", said Andrian Candu, the president of the Parliament.
