Electric Energy Council of CSI activity discussed by Igor Kuzko and Chiril Gaburici
The role and contribution of the CIS Electroenergetics Council in developing the electricity of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States was discussed at the meeting of Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici with Igor Kuzko, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS Electroenergetics Council.
The minister of Economy and Infrastructure mentioned that the electroenergetic sector is very important for the development of CSI countries.
"The Electroenergetic council represents a communication platform that is required to the member states, where we can make experience exchange and can say our opinions on some problems", said Chiril Gaburici.
At his turn, Igor Kuzko remarked Republic of Moldova's participation at the Council meetings.
"We appreciate the openness and active involvement of the Republic of Moldova in all activities of the CIS Electroenergetics Council. Moldovan shows professionalism and competence in the elaboration of the legislative and normative-technical basis of the Council, coming up with good practices and examples from the legislation of the Moldovan energy system", said the President of the Executive Electroenergy Committee of CSI.
The executive committee meets twice a year, starting 1992.
The electroenergetic system of CSI countries is the capacity of the 322 million kW electricity stations that produce 1265 milliard kWh electric energy per year.
